Make sure to thank David Walsh for his plug. I found you guys through his site.

I just want to know how things are working under the hood and the magic rails goo makes it kind of difficult to do most of the time.

I actually started working on one of my projects and am making great progress on it!

I have been meaning to change my Gravatar to my actual picture but everyone always gets a good laugh when they see it.

One thing I forgot to mention is it was good to hear others who have grand ideas and never end up completing them before moving on to the next one. I think this is just common for people who love technology.

I learned Rails in 2009 as well. After a year I am still not comfortable with some of the aspects of the framework. At work we use Java and I use the Seam framework so I only get to use Rails in my spare time which makes it harder to master. I have a couple of unfinished Rails projects. Still trying to decide if I want to press on or just rewrite them in Seam.

This episode is great. Keep up the good work guys.

However, please stop talking about redbull cola! ;) I don’t drink cola and so I do not relate. :p How about coffee? http://theoatmeal.com/comics/coffee

I invested in an xBox 360 for Xmas, I get what you’re talking about with that, I /was/ a PC gamer until playing games overheated my PC, so this is a great solution for me. Streaming my media from my PC to my xbox is great too.

Keeping code separate from markup is crucial.

Staying focused on existing projects is hard, the key is to stay motivated and excited about it to get it completed.

Until next time guys, enjoy.

My favorite web apps of 2009 are:

- Last.fm
- Meebo
- Mocking Bird
- Blinksale

And, of course, the aforementioned Dropbox, Google Reader, Mint.

Use it practically every day. Would be a mess of Internets without it.

Congrats on a great year guys, although I’m a late subscriber, it has been a helpful podcast for me.
